Our first step in this project was the installation of brand-new uPVC windows. uPVC windows are an ideal replacement for old wooden designs, as the material is weatherproof and more durable than timber. Not only that, uPVC won't need repainting and revarnishing in the same way as wooden windows will. Because of this, they require a lot less maintenance.

We installed uPVC windows with Halo Rustique profiles in a smooth white finish. Halo is one of the leading window profiles in the UK, designed by industry-leading suppliers VEKA. As a result, the profiles perform brilliantly, working alongside advanced double glazing in the build for decades. Our customer's uPVC windows also came with toughened glass, which is four times harder to break or shatter than normal annealed glass.

From there, we moved on to helping this homeowner bring their living space closer to nature. We agreed that French doors in uPVC would be the ideal choice. French doors are double doors, meaning they open in two halves to create a wider aperture and a more accessible entrance. Additionally, they have large double glazing panels, meaning natural light can easily enter this homeowner's living space.

We installed uPVC French doors from our range that again benefitted from the Halo profile. This profile helps protect the internal hardware from wind and rain indoors, ensuring a smooth operation that lasts. Additionally, uPVC is a naturally strong material, meaning it can come in more slimline shapes for windows and doors. Because of this, our customer gets brilliant views of their garden, even when the doors are shut.

Next, our customer had concerns over their conservatory. Conservatories can often become difficult to use in winter and summer, caused by the greenhouse effect. Some older builds have thin glass that can reflect heat around the space, meaning hot and cold air intensifies. However, instead of replacing or tearing the build down, Jewel worked with them to revitalise their living space.

We were happy to install one of our Warmer Roof designs for their home. A Warmer Roof is a tiled replacement conservatory roof that improves the insulation of the build. Individual tiles bind together in an air and water-tight design, retaining more of your home's natural heat and keeping cold air outside, along with cooling the space down in summer. And, with classy pewter grey tiles in a made-to-measure finish, this roof design was a perfect fit.

Finally, we set out to give this homeowner a brand-new entrance to be proud of. Not only is getting a durable door important for warmth and aesthetics, but it can also keep your home secure. Front doors remain the most likely target for burglars, so ensuring the door was secure was paramount to our team. As a result, we installed a uPVC door with multi-point locking systems for this project.

Again utilising the industry-leading Halo profile, this door is durable and solid to the core. Multi-point locks engage at several points in the frame and make sure intruders can't separate the glass in the door from it. Because of this, this customer's door doesn't have any weak spots a burglar can exploit.
