Are wooden doors high maintenance?
Wooden doors requiring a large amount of upkeep is a common misconception. They need periodical attention from you as the homeowner, but the upkeep required won’t prove a chore.
As with any entrance door, you’ll need to keep moving components free of dust and debris, to ensure optimum performance. These locks and hinges can then be oiled every six to 12 months.
With an authentic wooden door, you’ll also need to complete staining and varnishing work every few years, to maintain that brand new look. We can provide advice on this during installation. That’s the Jewel difference.
